And yes I'm talking about about cafe sua da (iced coffee w/milk) in Vietnamese (but I'm Cambodian and we drink it as well). I grew up with this coffee around. It a Southeast Asian staple in the pantry. This is ten times better than starbucks. :) Yum.
I recently returned from New Orleans where I tried this coffee and loved it. However, 3 cans were very dented upon arrival, and the coffee was, well, disgusting. The coffee was very strong, but not bitter. The chicory root evened everything out. I am rating this a three, because I did not contact the seller about the dented cans, because that should not affect the quality of the coffee. However, this coffee did not taste at all like the coffee from Cafe Du Monde that I tried a month before in New Orleans.
It's a deep, rich blend of coffee and chickory that is unique in my experience. We visited New Orleans this summer and had coffee and beniets at the REAL Cafe Du Monde in the French Quarter. This product brings that taste home. Very strong, very tasty. Highly recommended.
Couldn't find in any store near us then we found this seller. We got great pricing and fast shipping. Great transaction. Plan to but again.
Ok, Starbucks is awesome too, but this coffee is an acquired taste and is without the doubt the most unique and great tasting coffee.Since it has chicory, you do not mix as much as you would normal coffee. (To be precise, you would mix about half as you normally would). However, even know it is robust, it still contains less caffeine then normal coffee. By the way, chicory is extremely healthy for you.Try it today, taste what New Orleans has had for well over 140 + years.
